Syd wants to be a teacher when she grows up. I think she's got a chance.
This was something she did with Spencer. She got a paper, drew an alligator at the top to represent something that starts with an a......and then she had him practice A's across the page. She corrected some and put a sticker and an arrow by the ones she liked the best. She does stuff with the boys all of the time. and surprisingly, most of the time they listen. the babies however struggle in the listening department right now. Give em a year and she'll have them writing their names.
This was a letter Syd made for Cameron. I love what she had to say.....even though the original reason for making the card was to apologize for scratching him. :)
I also love how she used different colors and spiraled his name on the front. It's the little details that confirmed how much time and thought she put in to it.
If you can't read the actual note. (it didn't scan over well) This is what it says :
Cameron I am sorry that I scracht you. now that I am comed down. I am happy. I like you. I love you so so so so so so so so much. You are kind. You are nice.
Love Syd
Seriously. isn't that the sweetest note ever. and also, such great handwriting.
It's moments like these, that I relax about whether or not my kids are nice or 97.9% evil. :) CLEARLY they are 97.9% wonderful.
This picture is to help me remember the warmth and laughter of summer. Will it never get here. Not soon enough.
