We had talked about several little pet people that she might buy and keep in her room. A snake has always been high on the list. Hamsters and other furry rodent types were placed a little lower on the list trying to hide from J....but eventually Janice erased anything that resembled a mouse from all of the lists including the secret ones when we weren't looking.
She was interested in a tarantula. but I think that even made her a little creepy crawly.

After it all she picked a lizard. We researched and googled and checked out and read books and talked to people and decided on the perfect kind, a good age, cage, food, and light requirements. and we even offered to go half on all of what it would take to make her a member of our family.
I introduce Lucille. Sydney's bearded dragon.
