Child Labor Laws

The Fair Labor Standards Act's (FLSA) minimum age requirements do not apply to minors employed by their parents, or by a person acting as their guardian. An exception to this occurs in mining, manufacturing and occupations where the minimum age requirement of 18 years old applies.

State laws often follow the same pattern as the Fair Labor Standards Act with regard to minors working for their parents. Consult your state department of labor for specific guidance.

You fight....you clean. It is absolutely fair according to the US department of Labor. :)
Sydney also cleaned the floor boards down the hall and her room.   The boys had enough and decided to stop whining and went off to play quietly someplace.

This example shown above has not stopped the fighting....or the screaming in my head.
In fact, I'll bet within 20 minutes of taking these pictures...they found each other and started fighting again.
Maybe my house will stay cleaner now though.  :)
