...and out of the carpet, the glider, the hardwood floor, the wall, the bedding, the clothes and Ryan because he slipped and fell in it.
I've been picking chunks of hotdog out of my washing machine today, left over from the puke I cleaned up yesterday. hoy. hoy. yes it makes me gag just thinking about it.
Spencer says, "mom I threw up"
His speech is getting much better. It was as clear as a bell. and it was clearly all over my house.
He also said, "I'm gonna throw up mama" only moments before escorting him in to the bathroom where he continued to hurl in to the toilet 4-5 more times.
It must be a 24 hr thing because he's fine today. Kind of like that time Syd threw up at a birthday party after inhaling her piece of cake. She said she was fine after. :) hee hee hee....sorry to everyone at the party.
I told her not to lick anyone, so I hope everyone was spared.
Speaking of speaking. Cameron says this morning, "Mom, lets play I spy. I spy with my little eye...something blue" looking directly at Nathan's doll. (yes Nathan..he loves him some baby dolls)
I of course said, "ummmmm. the baby doll's clothes"
Cameron, "No, it's thuuuuuuuuuuu....(glancing around the room) Jencer's jammies"
"oh man, you got me"
I know it was that dang baby's pajama's. He's always changing the game up on me. :)
Cam has really come along with his speech. He's speaking more clearly and his vocabulary and sentences are filling in too.
Although I will miss his, "ghun ghun ghun ghun" (binky) talk. I'm very proud of him for working so hard at it.
People are telling me that Spencer's speech is more understandable. I thought maybe they were just getting use to the way that he spoke but have been reassured that it's getting better.
I'm sure that at some point I will wish that I discouraged them from ever talking at all. ha ha
For now. We keep working at it.
The funniest thing is when they will say, "t-t-t toy" and then "t-t-t car" and then "t-t-t ship" :) ha ha We'll work on the alphabet sounds once they get their speech down :)
In other news. Sydney has decided to be an orthodontist. We couldn't be more thrilled. and yes. I will be reminding her that SHE was the one who chose it. it had been written. and I have proof. She wants to be a brasre (ie. bracer. ie. put braces on people :)

ah shi-ooot
I don't remember dealing with this much poop when Syd was potty training.
I remember her not pooping on the potty for a while.
These boys are POOPY ! Cam still doesn't love the whole idea of pooping in the potty. It's a hit and a miss. USUALLY a miss. He'll wait until I put a pull-up on him at bedtime and then come in 7 minutes later and tell me..."I pooped" ugh.
He has done the same thing in his underwear a few times too.
Spencer on the other hand has been sipping off of his sisters drinks lately. His sister who gets mirolax. His little body isn't quite ready for that. So he was leaving streakers at each trip to the potty.
GAW, what is it with boys and streakers. I was raised with a house full. This is not my first experience with the brown skid mark.
Any ways. today at nap time Spencer had been in the potty for a long time. I heard the sink going....for a long time. So I went in to check on him.
There he is. standing naked on the stool in front of the sink. His underwear laying in front of the toilet and poopy toilet paper floating in the toilet.
Spencer immediately says in the sweetest, saddest crackling voice, "sorry mama"
FIRST of all. we don't get mad at accidents in our house. SECONDLY. he is the sweetest cutest poopy boy...how can you even frown with a response like that.
Upon closer inspection I see the pretty melted hershey's kiss in his underwear that he's trying to clean up himself. I picked his underwear up and used toilet paper to scrape the little bit that I could out.
Spencer quickly came over to flush...it's their favorite part.....and as I tried to escort him to the sink to wash the poop from his fingers, he informed me, "no ! I'm not done." he climbed back on the toilet. I wiped some remaining skidders on his leg off, and as I was squatting in front of him he gently caressed my cheek, with his poopy fingers, and said, "I love you mama"
SERIOUSLY ! the sweetest thing you can imagine and did you just wipe poop on mommy's cheek.
Being a mother who barely showers. Who's knee deep in boogers, spit, chewed up food and poop....I just replied, "I love you too buddy"
I of course took 2 wet wipes to my cheek after leaving the bathroom. but like wiping a kiss off, I wasn't going to let Spence see me do it.

Show-n off tell !!!
I was able to go to Syd's parents day at gymnastics yesterday. She's been rockin' it OUT ! She's a back handspringing fool.
I had camera in hand. Ready to catch her doing her back handsprings down the mat. Stood, video camera up. wait for her turn aaaand RECORD. THERE SHE GOES ! She gives me the smile and thumbs up each and every time she passes me on the mat after she's done with her tricks.
I sit. I wait. I look down and realize. I'm recording my pants. and the mat. I had it all reversed. I paused her tricks and recorded nothing. AAAAH !!! (lucky for me I did notice though)
After checking the camera like 4 times, I did get her doing a few. She was sooooo tired at this point, it was the end of class, so it's not her best. but take my word for it. the girl is a flipping machine. (I mean that in the flipping around kind of way)
It's funny, Syd came home so excited, "I did 8 back handsprings in a row mom !! I would have done more but teacher said that if I did 9 I'd run in to the drinking fountain" :) I love that kid.
ok, without further ado. and for those of you who didn't just skip right to the goods.
Here are the goods.

Trivia !
What do you get when you mix a 3 yr old and a pair of clippers ? (this incident absolutely tore him up, he was so upset about it. I think this picture says it all)
What do you get with a nearly 18 month old with attitude and a brother with the need to torment ?
What do you get when your oldest tries to comfort one from the youngest set for the foot antics of the 2nd set ? (get all of that?)
What do you get when you ask your children to smile because OMGosh they are sitting by each other and they aren't pestering one another ? (this one's a little hard so I'll give you 3 guesses)
What do you get when you say smile to the only one not tormenting or screwing around ?

Tips from a beauty professional !
Syd is super great about giving me beauty tips. She gives me great hints all of the time.
Like :
"Mom, I like it when you shower"
and, "Mom, you should wear that black shirt, ya, that one, and some pants. you know, some that are levi's"
or, "When you wash your hair, you know, so that it's not all pokey uppy and stuff....I think it looks WAY better."
last one, "mom are you going to wear your pajama's to take me to gymnastics, AGAIN ?!"
She was finally done talking and decided to do something to help.
Before shots

THAT. looks WAY better mom !
What do you think ? Not too shabby. I was expecting MUCH MUCH worse for a first timer :)

Ahoy Captain
Last requirement for Cameron to be a real live potty trained boy. He needed to go potty at school. Today on his last day before going off track until the middle of February, Cam peed at school.
The pirate ship is his. Way to go buddy ! We are SO DANG PROUD OF YOU.
(oh and you have no idea how hard it was to get this picture of JUST Cam and his pirate ship. It went something like this. "Spencer, just let me get ONE picture"...screaming "nooo I play with a SHIP ! Sydney :"why don't you ever take pictures of ME ! The boys get EVERYTHING !"....."Nathan and Ryan can you please stay back"...."NO BABIES, stop touching my ship"..."please everyone, just get back so that I can get one picture, all I want is one picture, is that too much to ask. move. Syd, I'm serious. Nathan and Ryan, GET BACK. Go, NOW, EVERYONE ! ok Cam...smile." (re-writing it makes me smile)
Those are some big shoes to fill buddy. Think you can potty train by 3 1/2 too? aaawww that smirk tells me that you CAN ! How about two ? Two it is ! :)
Mostly this was posted because, how stinking cute is he. He LOVES wearing moms shoes around. I love watching the seriousness in his sweet little face as he gets them on and then clomps around the house.
